Value Analysis and Value Engineering
Improve manufacturability, strengthen performance and reduce total cost without compromising quality.
Our Approach
Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE) helps customers get more value from their product and manufacturing strategy over time. It is a practical, structured way to evaluate where designs, materials, components and production methods can be improved to reduce cost, simplify assembly and support enhanced, more reliable performance. At Invetech, we use VAVE to help customers make smart changes that strengthen both the product and the manufacturing process.
These opportunities can come from many places, including part consolidation, alternative materials, supplier changes, design refinements and more efficient assembly or test methods. Invetech looks at those decisions through a broad lens, balancing cost with quality, performance, supply continuity and manufacturability. That is especially important in regulated and high complexity products, where even small changes need to be carefully assessed and implemented in a controlled way.
By applying VAVE as part of an integrated development and manufacturing model, we help customers identify improvements that support long term commercial success, not just short term savings. The result is a product that is easier to build, better positioned to scale and more resilient as market conditions, supply chains and business priorities evolve.
Why Invetech
Research, design, and validation in the same room.
Our UX team designs alongside the industrial design, software, and human-factors engineering teams that have to deliver on the experience. The design we research and prototype in week one is buildable, validatable, and submittable. Not a deliverable that gets quietly redesigned during integration. And because IEC 62366 alignment is the default, summative validation is something we plan for, not retrofit to.
Areas of Expertise
Reveal user needs and opportunity spaces through contextual and usability research
Imagine and design complete product visions, physical architectures and intuitive user interfaces that are styled according to existing or newly created brand design language, ready for manufacture
Design intuitive, branded digital experiences that seamlessly support the user and manage the broader system
Mitigate use‑related risks and generate documentation that adheres to FDA guidance and IEC 62366‑1 requirements
How the instrument’s tasks, screens, and physical interactions are organized into a workflow the user can hold in their head.
