Strategic program management

Our program managers lead complex, multi-year instrument development programs from feasibility through launch. They’re engineers by background, with deep experience running regulated programs across hardware, software, consumables, and manufacturing. They keep schedule, scope, risk, and regulatory planning aligned so the program stays on track and in budget.

Our Approach

Strategic program management at Invetech is the discipline of seeing around corners: risk before it’s a crisis, scope before it’s creep, dependencies before they’re delays. Our program managers aren’t administrators with Gantt charts. They’re engineers who run programs, with enough discipline depth to challenge a fluidics architecture or a software release plan when something doesn’t add up.

We bring this discipline to multi-year, regulated, multi-vendor instrument programs where small early decisions compound into large late costs. The job is to make those decisions visible, owned, and reversible while they’re still cheap.

Our program managers are engineers first. They’ve run optical integration, debugged motion subsystems, and sat through FDA reviews. That depth means they can challenge a technical decision when it doesn’t add up, not just track that the team made one.

Risk Management

Structured identification, quantification, and mitigation of program, technical, supply, and regulatory risks across the full lifecycle.

  • FMEA and design-risk analysis aligned to ISO 14971
  • Schedule and cost risk modeling
  • Live risk register through to launch
Stakeholder & Decision Governance
Lightweight governance that keeps the right people making the right decisions at the right time, without becoming a meeting tax.
Cost & Schedule Control
Integrated planning across hardware, software, consumables, and regulatory workstreams. We run the schedule the team can actually execute, not the one that looks best on a slide.
Regulatory Strategy Integration
Program plans built backward from the regulatory submission, with verification, validation, and design-history-file work scheduled alongside engineering, not after it.
Vendor & Partner Management
Selection, qualification, and management of contract manufacturers, component vendors, and specialist subcontractors.
