As leader of Invetech, Andreas brings more than 20 years of deep experience in guiding product development teams to deliver market winning technologies and products.
Commencing his career with Draeger Medical, Andreas moved into venture capital, supporting and investing in early stage medical technology companies. Andreas’ relationship with Invetech started in 2004 where he held positions of increasing responsibility including Program Manager and Director of Biomedical Instruments and Devices. In 2012, Andreas became Global Vice President, Core Histology for Leica Biosystems prior to returning to Invetech at the start of 2016 as President.
Andreas has a master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Hamburg University in Germany.
Global Vice President, Commercial
Anthony is a proven product development leader with more than 20 years of experience in markets including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotech and consumer products. As Global Vice President Commercial, Anthony is responsible for driving the continued expansion of our presence in North America and our focus on leadership and innovation in the rapidly expanding diagnostics and healthcare sectors.
Anthony has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University in Virginia.
Global Vice President, Marketing
Yannick has more than 20 years of B2B marketing experience, with a focus in market strategy, product marketing and integrated brand marketing.
Prior to joining Invetech in 2013, Yannick was Vice President of Global Marketing at Avaya where she was responsible for establishing Avaya's digital demand generation engine to support $5B in annual revenue. Yannick has also run a consultancy for European companies and start-ups looking to establish a strategic presence in U.S. markets.
Yannick has a bachelor's degree in Economic Science from the University of Ghent and an Executive MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.
Rob has more than 25 years of experience creating leading-edge products for the diagnostics and analytical laboratory markets. During this time, he has helped companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations define, develop and manufacture instrumentation and consumable products that deliver real differentiation and market competitiveness. Rob is a strong believer that success in these high technology markets demands a strong mix of excellence in both product definition and product delivery. As CTO, Rob is actively driving Invetech's technology and IP development strategy for both the cell therapy and diagnostics markets.
Rob has a Ph.D. in Physics from Monash University in Melbourne.
Doug is responsible for leading the global legal and compliance effort for Invetech. He has over 20 years of experience across a wide spectrum of legal roles in public, private and start-up companies with a particular focus on high tech products and services.
Doug has a bachelor's degree in Finance from Boston College and a J.D. from New York University School of Law.
Vice President, Finance
Vijay is responsible for leading the global finance function of Invetech and brings a unique combination of financial expertise, operational acumen and technology industry knowledge. He has more than 30 years of experience in corporate finance for companies based in the USA, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia including Danaher and Fortive affiliates.
Vijay has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Hatfield Polytechnic in the U.K. and is recognized as a Chartered Accountant in England, Wales and Australia.
General Manager and Vice President of Invetech’s Dover Motion Division
Ankush brings a diverse range of skills to Invetech’s Dover Motion division—a leading provider of precision stages and engineered motion solutions—including valuable experience in program management, research and development, new market identification, and general management.
Ankush joined Invetech in 2016 from his position as General Manager of Tektronix Encore, one of the fastest growing businesses of Tektronix. Ankush also held several other management roles within Tektronix including business development, new product portfolio management, and global product management.
Ankush has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering and is a 2010 graduate of the MBA program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
Vice President, Diagnostics
Gerald has more than 20 years of global experience in end-to-end R&D projects in a technical, strategic and portfolio management capacity within the automotive and biomedical design & engineering sectors. Prior to joining Invetech, he spent more than 12 years in R&D with the Toyota Technical Centre in Australia. Over the course of his career, Gerald has led numerous successful development programs to deliver winning products to market. As Global Vice President, Diagnostics Gerald is actively driving Invetech’s diagnostics business to continue ensuring positive outcomes for clients, fostering innovation and improved product design.
Gerald has a double bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical & Computer Science) from Monash University and an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business.
Vice President, Cell Therapy
David has spent more than 11 years supporting our cell and advance therapy clients in establishing robust, scalable GMP therapy manufacture that maximizes commercial outcomes without compromising on product efficacy and consistency. He brings a wealth of expertise in innovative new product development, risk-based program management, and business strategy.
David has an MBA from Melbourne Business School and a BE/BSc from The University of Melbourne.
Senior Director, Hardware Engineering
Paul joined Invetech in 2013 and is the leader of the Hardware Resource Group. He has over 15 years of experience in guiding product development teams to deliver market winning products, with a focus on resource management, people development and process improvement.
Prior to Invetech, Paul spent over 14 years with the Toyota Technical Centre in Australia developing automotive wire harnesses and power distribution systems for globally manufactured vehicles. For two of those years he worked in Toyota’s Technical Centre headquarters in Japan, where he gained a deep understanding and appreciation of Japanese culture and “The Toyota Way.”
Paul has a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Melbourne.
Global Director, Software Engineering
Chris’ expertise is focused on product lifecycle management in the medical and diagnostic healthcare industry. In his current role as the head of the Software Resource Group, he is leading the usability team and also ensuring the software team delivers on the highest standards in quality and safety.
Prior to joining Invetech in 2017, Chris was the Vice President of Platform Systems at Roche Tissue Diagnostics (formerly called Ventana) based in Tucson, AZ. He has also worked for several other life sciences and diagnostics companies, including Nanogen, Nanomix and Novartis.
Chris has a master’s degree in System Sciences and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, both obtained at UCLA.
Director, Human Resources
Liza is responsible for all HR activities across Invetech, including leading initiatives for attracting and developing the best talent available and building a culture of integrity, agility and innovation. Liza has significant and diverse experience acquired through various HR leadership roles, most recently in the oil and gas industry in Canada.
Liza has a bachelor’s degree in Business, combined with a Professional Diploma of HR and MBA from James Cook University, Australia.
