Andreas Knaack
Andreas Knaack
President
As leader of Invetech, Andreas brings more than 20 years of deep experience in guiding product development teams to deliver market winning technologies and products.
Commencing his career with Draeger Medical, Andreas moved into venture capital, supporting and investing in early stage medical technology companies. Andreas’ relationship with Invetech started in 2004 where he held positions of increasing responsibility including Program Manager and Director of Biomedical Instruments and Devices. In 2012, Andreas became Global Vice President, Core Histology for Leica Biosystems prior to returning to Invetech at the start of 2016 as President.
Andreas has a master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Hamburg University in Germany.
Gerald Kent

Vice President / General Manager
Gerald has more than 25 years of global experience in end-to-end research and development projects in a technical, strategic and portfolio management capacity in the automotive sector and in the biomedical design and engineering sectors. Prior to joining Invetech, he spent more than 12 years in R&D with the Toyota Technical Centre in Australia. Over the course of his career, Gerald has led numerous successful development programs to deliver winning products to market.
As Vice President, Diagnostics & Cell Therapy, Gerald is actively driving Invetech’s business to continue ensuring positive outcomes for clients, fostering innovation and improved product design.
Gerald has a double Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical and Computer Science) from Monash University and an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business.
Paul Tsironis
Paul Tsironis
Vice President, Fortive Business System
Paul joined Invetech in 2013 and is the leader of the Hardware Resource Group. He has over 15 years of experience in guiding product development teams to deliver market winning products, with a focus on resource management, people development and process improvement.
Prior to Invetech, Paul spent over 14 years with the Toyota Technical Centre in Australia developing automotive wire harnesses and power distribution systems for globally manufactured vehicles. For two of those years he worked in Toyota’s Technical Centre headquarters in Japan, where he gained a deep understanding and appreciation of Japanese culture and “The Toyota Way.”
Paul has a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Melbourne.
Janet O’Meara
Janet O’Meara
Vice President, Finance
Janet has over 30 years of experience in corporate finance and accounting, with the last 18 years in Head of Finance roles in international cross-matrix organizations across medical technologies and telecommunications. Prior to joining Invetech, Janet served as Finance Director ANZ at ConvaTec. She has extensive business partnering experience, and her skills encompass finance and analysis, combined with commercial knowledge and people leadership.
Janet has a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance from the University of Melbourne and is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ). She is based at Invetech’s Melbourne office.
Mark Willingham
Mark Willingham
Vice President and General Manager of Dover Motion, a division of Invetech
Mark has more than 20 years of experience in growing and developing technology and energy companies globally. Prior to joining Invetech, he held positions of Senior Vice President and Managing Director at multiple technology companies including Energy Federation, Inc. (EFI), Labsphere Inc., Manz AG, and Spire Corporation. He opened and lead the expansion of Schiller GmbH in the United States and Asia. He has extensive international experience in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East and a broad technology background including solar/semi, fab-level automation, and optics/saser systems in advanced manufacturing, life sciences, and energy sectors.
Prior to his civilian career, Mark was an Officer in the United States Navy and a Gulf War Veteran.
Mark holds an MBA from Wallace E. Carroll Graduate School of Management at Boston College and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Phillippa Martin
Phillippa Martin
Senior Director, Human Resources
Phillippa is responsible for the acquisition, engagement, and development of the diverse talent needed to support Invetech’s operations and strategic objectives. Phillippa brings over 15 years of HR and leadership experience to the role and is recognized as a trusted HR partner. Phillippa is passionate about building capability and supporting leaders to drive success.
Phillippa has a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from Monash University and is a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute. Phillippa resides in Melbourne, Australia with her family and enjoys being active outdoors.
Paul Bowen
Paul Bowen
General Counsel
Paul is responsible for leading the global legal and compliance efforts for Invetech. He has over 20 years of legal experience representing and counseling public and private companies in a wide range of legal matters, including commercial, corporate, regulatory compliance, litigation, and intellectual property. Prior to his role at Invetech, Paul was a partner with a large international law firm.
Paul has a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington and a J.D. from the University of Kansas.
