To mark 30 years of product innovation success, Invetech, a leader in new product development, custom automation and contract manufacturing, is announcing an expanded focus within healthcare markets.

The evolving needs and opportunities in the vibrant healthcare sector are core to Invetech’s decision to develop and offer additional capabilities in these markets, specifically diagnostics, connected health and cell therapy manufacturing automation. Beyond healthcare, the company will continue to explore opportunities and operate projects in adjacent markets.

Over the last three decades, Invetech has been a leading product realization partner to a diverse range of clients spanning the biomedical and life sciences markets, as well as factory automation, industrial products and fast moving consumer goods. This varied expertise has been critical in Invetech’s global expansion, including partnering with major clients such as Leica Biosystems, bioMérieux, Bio-Rad and Abbott Diagnostics.

Finding market differentiation through a robust experience design offering
In the current environment of ever-increasing business competitiveness and technological advancement, creating a great customer experience has become an essential element of commercial success. To help our clients develop differentiated and innovative biomedical systems and products, the company appointed Cece O’Connor as the global director of UX strategy and design to develop and grow a team of experience design engineers. Cece’s team is responsible for designing products, processes and services focused on creating the best possible interaction from the user’s point of view.

Leveraging proprietary modules for faster time to market and lower product costs
Invetech has developed a range of pre-verified subsystems and proprietary modules that can be reused and reconfigured to enable more rapid and reliable development of diagnostic instruments. The modules consist of proven technologies including configurable motion systems, software and firmware modules that combine to decrease development risk, accelerate project schedules and deliver proven reliability.

Utilizing agile methodologies to enhance development processes
